Displays for 12 video walls in the terminal
Five configurations: seven 2×1, two 2×2, one 4×2, one 3×3 and one 5×3.
At Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, from 2019 to 2025, TRS delivered and installed professional Samsung displays for the flight information system: 12 video walls and more than 150 information screens across the terminals, check-in counters and boarding gates. We also equipped the airport's control centre with video walls and a VuWall display management system.
The flight information display system (FIDS) keeps passengers informed about arrivals and departures: the gate, boarding time and other flight information. TRS had installed the existing system of 140 Samsung displays about ten years earlier. When the client wanted to upgrade it, we delivered new premium Samsung professional displays (700 nits, 24/7 operation) and Chief (Legrand AV) and Vogel’s professional mounts for 12 video walls of different sizes and more than 150 information screens.
Airport screens run without a break, in a space that tens of thousands of passengers pass through every day. That is why we chose premium professional displays and mounts that ensure precise installation, TÜV certification, seismic safety certificates and easy servicing.
The collaboration has been ongoing since 2019. As the terminal developed, we delivered and installed new displays and video walls, in line with strict airport security regulations and occupational health and safety rules.
In addition to the terminal displays, we equipped the Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC) with Samsung video walls. Together with equipment from our partner, the Canadian company VuWall (by Panoptec) ↗, they display and arrange visuals and preset layouts for the operations team.
